How To Apply The Figma Education Plan ?

To apply for the Figma Education plan, you need to meet the following requirements.

1. Age: You must be at least 13 years old.
2. Status: You must be a student or educator in a classroom.
3. Email: You should use your student or teacher email address to sign up for Figma.

After meeting these requirements, you can apply for Figma Education by following these steps.

01. create account in Figma

go to Figma and tap get started free.

then use your student email address provided by campus.

after you will get confirmation email to finish your account setup.

if you have microsoft account, through Outlook you can confirm that email.

next  log in to figma using your email and password.

02. Apply the Figma education plan 

go to the figma education   and click the get verified.

you will get this kind of application.

• first you have to choose you are a student, Educator or Administrator ? you can choose student.

• then you have to select what type of your institution do you attend or work for ? if you are in campus, you can select higher Education.

• after  you have to tell why are you applying for a free Figma Education Plan? in this, you can tell  like this. (EX: I am applying for the free Figma Education plan because I am a student currently studying Information Technology. I believe that having access to professional design and collaboration tools like Figma will greatly enhance my learning experience. It will allow me to work on projects more efficiently, collaborate with my peers in real-time, and gain hands-on experience with a tool used by design professionals.)

• “What is your school name ?”  if your school name not listed in this list, type “School not list ” and select that one.  then you will get another few options to fill.

• in option 6, you have to type your school full name. (Ex: British Collage Applied Studies)

• after, you have to provide your school’s website link.

• then, you have to select your primary field of study. if its not listed, you can choose “other” option and next field, you can type your field of study.

• next you have to upload a copy of your class shedule. for this, I uploaded my current class shedule.

• next you have to select expected graduation Date.

• finally, other 2 option you have to tick a “Yes, I agree” and click the submit button.

If your information correct, you can see this.

03. Figma Education 

after click the go to Figma, you will get this kind of web page.

after fill these field, click the Next button. then you can skip the next step.

after that you will come to your Figma account and Project Page.

now you can use Figma professional plan for free using the Figma Education Plan.
